Before he started MasonBaronet, Willie worked hither and yon for ad agencies and design firms. Along the way, his ideas have been featured in (and recognized by) just about every major industry publication and juried competition.
Willie graduated in 1982 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and he has a passion for teaching. He has taught at the Brookhaven Community College in Dallas and at Texas A&M in Commerce, and he has served as visiting faculty for the MA Program at Syracuse University. He was invited to be Technical Editor for the recently published book, "Advertising for Dummies," and has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas AIGA and the Dallas Society of Visual Communicatins. According to his fello directors, he also takes up space on the Board of Directors of Despair, Inc.
Willie is currently (and in no particular order) enrolled in the Masters of Liberal Arts program at SMU, learning to the play the drums, still worshipping Michael Jordan, and a proud papa to the cutest cats in the world, Peekaboo and Elvis.
